CLIENT WAIVER & AGREEMENT

Doing business as Sahaj Kaur Yoga and Majestic Yoga Studio
(collectively referred to as "SK/MYS Yoga")

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
This agreement is intended to release liability for participation in all yoga classes, workshops, teacher trainings, retreats, private sessions, or healing sessions offered by SK/MYS Yoga, whether in-studio, virtual, or off-site. By signing below, you agree to the terms outlined herein.

1. Acknowledgment of Risk
   I understand that yoga, movement practices, and healing modalities involve physical exertion and may carry a risk of injury. I voluntarily choose to participate and assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages, known or unknown, arising from my participation in any program offered by SK/MYS Yoga.
   
   
2. Health Disclosure
   I affirm that I am in good health and have consulted with a physician if necessary regarding my ability to participate. I understand that it is my responsibility to listen to my body, rest as needed, and inform the instructor of any relevant physical conditions prior to class.
   
   
3. Release & Indemnity
   I release and hold harmless Shelley Loheed, SK/MYS Yoga, instructors, substitute teachers, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability for injuries or damages to person or property incurred in connection with SK/MYS Yoga offerings, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. This release does not apply to injuries caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
   
   
4. Consent to Touch (Optional)
   Yoga may include physical alignment assistance. I understand that I may decline touch at any time.

   Some classes or workshops may be photographed or recorded for promotional or educational purposes.

6. Personal Belongings
   SK/MYS Yoga is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal items.
   
   
7. COVID-19 Assumption of Risk
   I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk of exposure or infection while attending any SK/MYS Yoga event. I release SK/MYS Yoga and its affiliates from any liability relating to COVID-19 exposure or illness.

   By signing, I agree to receive emails and updates related to classes and offerings from SK/MYS Yoga. I may unsubscribe at any time. SIGNATURE I have read and fully understand this waiver and release. I voluntarily agree to the terms stated above.
