Join us for a 220-hour immersive experience to awaken the teacher within and deepen your connection to self, soul, and the sacred technology of Kundalini Yoga. Completion Requirements

To receive your certification, you’ll be expected to:

Attend all 180 in-person hours and complete 40 hours of homework

Attend 20 public Kundalini Yoga classes

Create two full class curricula

Participate in 5 full morning sadhanas

Complete 40-day meditations

Attend a daylong meditation intensive

Successfully complete your practicum

Pass the final written exam (75% or higher)

Uphold the KRI Code of Ethics

Fulfill all course fees

What certification do I receive?

Graduates earn a 220-hour Level One certificate in The Aquarian Teacher™ program through KRI (Kundalini Research Institute), and the training is Yoga Alliance approved.

How is the program structured and how long does it run?

It’s a 6-month journey offered in a blended format (in-person immersion + virtual connection), with 180 contact hours, 40 at-home practice hours, and 20 required public class attendances.

What will I learn?

Core studies include yogic philosophy, kriya, mantra, meditation; breathwork, sound, and subtle body systems; yogic & functional anatomy; humanology, ethics, and the art of teaching; diversity awareness and trauma-informed approaches; and the sacred role of a Kundalini Yoga teacher.

4) What are the completion requirements?

Attend all 180 in-person hours and complete 40 hours of homework, attend 20 public classes, create two full class curricula, participate in five morning sadhanas, complete 40-day meditations, attend a daylong meditation intensive, pass the final exam (75%+), uphold the KRI Code of Ethics, successfully complete your practicum, and fulfill all course fees.

5) Who are the teachers?

The training is led by Hari Kaur & Sahaj Kaur—KRI-certified legacy teachers with 40+ years’ combined experience; the program is hosted and coordinated by Sahaj Kaur.

6) When and where does it take place?

2026 dates span January–June (mix of in-person and virtual sessions). In-person gatherings are at Majestic Yoga Studio and a second Cambridge location (TBD). Dates and locations are subject to change.

7) What is the tuition, and do you offer refunds or payment plans?

Tuition is $3,700 until September 21 (summer sale), then $4,200. There’s a 14-day cancellation window for a full refund; payment plan agreements are non-refundable; after that, all purchases are final.

8) Is the training inclusive and trauma-informed?

Yes—Trauma-Informed & Inclusive Teaching is a core value, and the curriculum includes diversity awareness and trauma-informed approaches.
